Put your flowers into cold fresh water as soon as possible. Use flower food to keep water fresher. Freshly cut flowers do better when ends are trimmed and water is changed every couple of days. Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and if any ‘go over’ take them out of the bouquet and let the others grow on 🙂
Statement flowers generally grow in the following order from March/April onwards: Tulips, Ranunculus, Peonies, Roses, Lilies, Hydrangeas, Dahlia’s
Currently we are offering collection only (apart from for wedding materials we will deliver up to a 20 mile radius)
We grow as many of the flowers as possible for weddings; but in some cases we may have to buy flowers in depending on the size of the wedding event and the time of year
We offer Wedding Floristry all year round. From March – November we love to include our flowers grown here on the farm in all of our wedding designs and we also sell flower buckets during these months
During the months of March – November we ask for 24-48 hours notice for a bouquet order. This is to enable us to cut, condition and arrange the flowers for you
Flowers during the growing season are cut very early in the morning whilst they have water in the stems and to ensure longer vase life)
Our Flower Farm is our home as well as our business. To respect our privacy and that of our neighbours: The Flower Farm is not open to the public
